Een evenement als de Texel-DDA
Fly-ln is mogelijk door de inzet ven
de tientallen vrijwilligers, meer dat
alleen is niet genoeg. Om zo'n Fly-
ln financieel rond te krijgen zijn
sponsors nodig. De firma Shell
was één van de eersten die finen-
ciéle support toezegde. Anderen
volgden snel. De heer Clifford
Kocq van Breugel, directeur van
Handel- en Exploitatie Maatschap
pij Midden-Nederland, de heer
Boelhouwer, directeur van het
Bouwbedrijf Hiiien en Roosen die
niet alleen aanbood de DDA-
hangar voor kostprijs te willen
bouwen, maar ook financieel de
Fiy-in wilde steunen.
materieel.
De organisatoren van de Texel-DDA
Fiy-in willen alle sponsors hartelijk
danken voor hun bijdragen en ho
pen dat het resultaat van al het
werk zal zijn dat nog meer perso
nen en bedrijven hun enthousi
asme tonen door financiële
ondersteuning.

luchtvaartmaatschappij een ruim

low wing aircraft for groundattacks with a 1490
hp (Rolls Royce) Packard Merlin V-1650-7 engine.
On request of the British government this fa
mous one seat aircraft was developed and built

be succesful in war, the Americans also took
use of the P-51. It was one of the best aircraft
in the second world war and was even used af

an escort variant appeared, the P-82 Twin
Mustang, which was a composition of two P-51
fuselages and outer wings, and one new mid-
wing and horizontal stabilizer. The P-82 perfor

The aircraft present is: LM-WMN (Warbirds of
Norway)
Piper J3C L4J Cub: A two seat high wing

the 150 hp Lycoming 0-320 In military use the
Super Cup flies as observation and communica
